MW Children Foundation
is the movement of caring parents who want to help children and have the willingness to make it happen. We offer the opportunity for children to exchange cultural experiences in a Meaningful Way. We are the Children’s Foundation for a Meaningful World.
Our organization focuses on elementary and middle school-aged children at-risk in Thailand. We grant education funds for qualified students to go to school who otherwise could not attend school in Thailand.
We also focus on providing learning experiences for Texas Scouts (Houston area) by providing help with their expenses for overseas trips in volunteering and learning opportunities, and to facilitate in cultural exchange with other children/students/ Scouts from Thailand.
MW Children Foundation project was inspired by a young American girl named Ally Carpenter.
Ally’s grandfather helped to establish and grow an orphanage in Thailand. Based on her visits to the orphanage with her family, she was encouraged to help children in her own community.
Her first visit to an orphanage in the northeast of Thailand at a young age (she was about 11 years old) had a great impact on her life in a positive way. Ally’s desire and actions to help and serve others inspired the MW Children Foundation creators that we shouldn’t have to wait or have any conditions in order to do good deeds, helping others or our society.
